This was something i did last summer. I was cutting a few vines that grow around my pine tree (they were starting to choke him) and i noticed this piece that was almost straight with two knots that resembled a guard, so i stripped it of its bark and sanded it, removed a lot of other knots in the "blade" and wrapped its hilt with red electric tape. It weights a little over 1/2 pound and it looks really cool. Only now did i remebered to take some pics and post it here. I'll probably spread some varnish to prevent mold, i had to clean a little bit from it the other day.

lol, i'll use this sword, my boken, a future long curved sword made out of pine (pure branch) and my future knife Zuul [link] i still have to make it, but i already cut out the cardboard for the mould. HAHA, how do u like me now?
